I never thought about this.

I never thought about this.
Made my day

For many, school started this week. Kids and parents are back to a semi normal routine. Going to bed on time, getting up on time, showers, breakfast... put on the new shoes and lets go go go. I caught myself missing these days.

As most of you know, my "kids" are not kids anymore, they are 24, 21 and 19. The oldest girl took this semester off to be a teachers assistant. She is scheduled to return to college in the spring and I found myself wanting to buy her school supplies for her "students" but I didn't... ok I did buy a few books for her classroom library, as she is a 4th grade ELA teacher. Then assistant teacher the rest of her day.

My youngest daughter moved into her FIRST apartment and instead of school supplies, I sighed a lease, transferred utilities and bought household items. YES, she needed pots to cook. My back to school days sure look different now.

I got home from work this morning and fed the dogs, did some cleaning and decided to check my web site. I came across something I never thought about seeing... A book report completed on one of my books. How glorious is this!?

I took scene shots and sent this to both of my daughters. This made my day!

I want to thank the parent who took time away from the busy back-to-school week, and email me this book report!

On another note... Book THREE to the Goofy Newfie Crew is going to my Editor tomorrow. I have started the search for an illustrator. Spring Writing contest rules are written. (Summer writing contest didn't get enough entries so we are trying again in spring. All who entered, have been emailed) Morgan and Murphy's action figures have arrived.
