Cute book
I am well aware that this world is not all about me!
During this adventure, I have met many amazing authors. One thing I have determined is this industry is hard and we need to support each other.
I started this adventure when my youngest daughter started full day Kindergarten. I took a manuscript that I had written and went for private grammar lesson with an editor who was patient and kind. I attended writing conferences and was part of critic groups. That was soul searching for sure... incase you don't know that that is. You print off a chapter of your book and trade it with members of the group you fit in with. You have a month to critic their chapter, as they critic yours. I learned a lot!!!
But when my middle child graduated high school, I could get serious and focus on this craft. When my youngest graduated, I got very driven and I'm out there. This wasn't a quick easy adventure to go on. Years of hard work for sure. I also realize that MOST author have faced the same struggles I have. This is my second fellow "author" support post.
Last week, I had the honor of visiting with Stacy. This is her first book. She has a passion for animals and so much fun to chat with.
This heartwarming story helps young readers understand the powerful truth that all animal deserves to be seen, loved and given a place to belong. All proceeds from this book are donated to animal rescues. Great bedtime story for 3-5 year old kiddos and can be found on Amazon.
On another note: I am working on "Unwanted" book 2.
