They are here!!!

I am so excited! Morgan, Murphy and friends are here. YEP!

During one of my meetings with the publisher, I was told, "Morgan needs a Plushie". He set up a meeting with another author who has great success bundling a plushie with his book. I started to research companies and idea.

Every corner I turned, I met a dead end. So, I sat back and really though "what is my goal for this series of books?" I decided on 2 basic goals: 1. Create a fun and easy way to raise awareness on hard or confusing topics. 2. Create something kids in the hospital can "play" with while they are recovering.

Goal #1... check, so now goal #2... Create somethings kids can "play" with. I got a few ideas and started to figure out what I can pull off. The plushie, idea is a good one but very common. I talked to the pet-in-can people but that didn't work. Then I was walking around Community days and kids were going crazy over 3D printed items. Hmmm! I found a few family owned, USA 3D print company, Emailed them all and one was willing to help me create a custom 3D Newfoundland dog... we looked at prototypes, created and changed then had a Newfie we both liked. Of course, every Newfie needs a friend and we worked together to create a friend from their book.

'Morgan: The Goofy Therapy Newfie" has a brown and white cow stuffed animal that she carries around and loves. On the last page of her book she is asleep with her cow, dreaming about her kids. Of course, her friend is a dairy cow, named "kenzie"

"Murphy: The Goofy Newfie with Autism" becomes over focused on cat. He knows all details about CATS!!! On one of his pages he has a big-brown-cat with him so we created a cat, named Jacob as his friend.

"Cooper: The Goofy Newfie with Anxiety" left for editing Friday. The illustrator for this book has been hired... what friend did I create for cooper?!?! Hmmmm... You'll find out in 6 months!!

These action figures and "friend" will be bundled with an autographed book and available to purchase starting 9/15/26.
