We love reading to classes

Morgan and I love going into schools to read our book.

Our "Teams" main purpose in life is going to visit patients at Children's hospital. That is Morgan and I's favorite thing to do. I have learned that Morgan is the ultimate distraction, for kids and adults. Walking the halls of the hospital next to her is like having a famous movie star walk next to me. People stop. People whip out phones and take photos. I hear alot of "Can I please pet that bear", "Can I get a photo with your dog?". I have even had people chase us down to touch her. Those who know her yell, "Morgan is here" "OH YES! It's Morgan day".

It is no surprise to me that if I want to be able to read to kids, Morgan has to disappear. They can not see her! For this school, I had the great honor of having my husband, Ian with me. Ian has never seen Morgan "work" so he was excited to be able to help. Ian and Morgan hide while I read, "Morgan: The Goofy Therapy Newfie" to each class. I answered questions and then watched their faces light up when I said, "Guess who is here?" The teacher opened the door and the kids would go crazy as Morgan bee lined it to me and sat. Everyone had their own time to love on her and the questions they asked were brilliant.

We are having so much fun on this book adventure.

Little side note; this school had fun sensory items, like this plastic liquid floor tiles. They came in many colors and when you step on it, the colors move. Who could resist stepping on these as you walk past them...not me!
